This feathered fashionista has brought a whole new meaning to the 'goose step' by stomping around his home town in a pair of SANDALS! Gator the goose became the talk of the town on his recent visit to an American seaside resort, where he was putting his feet up along with owners Bob and Lauree Strouse. They designed the fancy footwear to protect his delicate webbed feet which become sore after a day's strutting around the concrete and asphalt surfaces of the city. But onlookers couldn't help but stare at the goose's custom shoes with one tourist capturing these candid snaps of Gator in full stride. Described as a 'rescue goose' by his owners, Bob and Lauree picked up their pet from the side of a lake filled with hungry alligators calling him 'Gator Bait', a name which has since been shortened. He caused a stir on the couple's recent trip to St Augustine in Florida where tourists captured the candid snaps.
